● Kyenjojo, Uganda
Where we work

Beginning in Nyambya, learning with Kyenjojo.

NGI begins from Nyambya Village in Kirongo Parish, Kyenjojo Town Council, Kyenjojo District, western Uganda.

Green hills and a community in western Uganda
01

Our starting point

Kyenjojo is predominantly rural, and families face interconnected pressures across education, income, protection, water and social support. NGI’s first responsibility is to understand these realities closely and respond within its lawful local mandate.

02

Community entry

We work alongside schools, parents, faith spaces, local councils, health workers, the Community Development Office and trusted referral services. These relationships strengthen local ownership while NGI remains independent and inclusive.

03

Responsible growth

The name Nurtora is not tied to one district because the long-term vision is national. Expansion will happen only as organisational capacity, evidence, partnerships and the correct legal approvals allow.
