Why this programme matters

School costs, overcrowded classrooms, weak family follow-up, disability-related barriers and limited learning materials place many children at risk of falling behind or leaving school. NGI connects learning support with child wellbeing and family engagement.

02

What we do

Activities are shaped by simple needs assessments with learners, teachers, parents, youth mentors and local leaders.

  • Reading, writing, numeracy, storytelling and public-speaking clubs
  • Mentorship on confidence, hygiene, study habits and decision-making
  • Attendance tracking, parent follow-up and respectful home visits
  • Scholastic and dignity support when resources are available
  • Identification, referral and inclusion support for children with disabilities
  • Talent activities through art, debate, sport, music and storytelling
03

What we will measure

Attendance records, teacher notes, home-visit summaries, referral records and consented stories help NGI understand whether children are participating, returning to learning and receiving the right support.
