01

Why Nurtora begins in Nyambya

NGI’s first commitment is to listen closely to the community where it began. Local learning helps the organisation build activities around real barriers rather than assumptions.

02

When WASH becomes education

A girl without menstrual-hygiene support may miss school. A child without handwashing and safe sanitation is exposed to preventable illness. WASH is therefore part of learning, safety and dignity.

03

Young people as community problem-solvers

NGI’s youth-led model gives young volunteers responsibility for mentorship, mobilisation, documentation and practical service—supported by safeguarding and accountable supervision.
