Why this programme matters
Menstrual challenges, heavy domestic work, unsafe relationships, early marriage, pregnancy, exploitation and limited mentorship can interrupt a girl’s education and confidence. Girls need support that protects dignity rather than blaming vulnerability.
What we do
Responsible female mentors and youth leaders guide safe, age-appropriate and confidential activities.
- Girls’ safe-space clubs and girl-to-girl mentorship
- Menstrual health, hygiene, dignity and privacy sessions
- Life skills, communication and self-protection learning
- Teenage pregnancy and early-marriage prevention dialogues
- Parent engagement on education, workload, protection and support
- Respectful referral support for girls facing serious risks
Protection comes first
All mentors follow a Code of Conduct. NGI avoids unsafe or secretive contact with children, protects confidentiality and uses recognised referral pathways when a girl needs specialised help.
